JEE college wise cut-off

Posted By : RIA , on 03 Nov, 2021

Following the formal announcement of the final results, the National Testing Agency will release the information. The JEE Main cutoff has two types: the qualifying cutoff marks or admission cutoff. The JEE Main qualifying cutoff is the minimum score that candidates must get to be considered for JEE Advanced. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) will issue the JEE Main admission cutoff in the form of opening and closing ranks for each institute.

Candidates must achieve a score that is greater than or equal to the national average. Candidates who reach the JEE Main qualifying cut-offs will be able to take the JEE Advanced exam for admission to India's IITs.

For admission to JEE Main participating institutes, candidates must get minimal ranks (close ranks). After each round of JoSAA counseling, admission cutoffs for all participating institutes will be announced.

The JEE Main Cutoff is influenced by a number of factors:

  • JEE Main Question paper: Difficulty Level
  • The number of candidates who took the JEE Main exam.
  • The total number of seats in each institute
  • Test takers who score the highest
  • Test takers who score the lowest possible mark
  • Average score achieved by the test taker
