First, let's have a talk about IIT JEE Exams and how they are conducted. Then, we will see the importance of IIT JEE mock tests. The Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IITJEE) is a national engineering entrance test held by India's seven IITs. The test lasts three hours and includes both objective and subjective questions. The JEE Main is used to get into the IITs' undergraduate programs, while the JEE Advanced is used to get into the elite IITs. For admission to their undergraduate programs, the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Guwahati, and Roorkee administer the test. With over 1.5 million students applying for roughly 10,000 places, it is one of India's most difficult tests.
All candidates taking the JEE Main must have taken at least 5 topics in their qualifying exams, including Physics and Math as key subjects. JEE Main is not open to students who have studied less than 5 topics in their qualifying test. Physics, mathematics, chemistry, language, and one additional topic of choosing are required for JEE Main eligibility.
Any student who finished or will complete the 12th grade or its equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or 2022 is eligible to take the entrance exam. Students are allowed to sit the JEE Main exam three times in succession. The admission exam is expected to be administered twice (April and May).
For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs, students must have obtained a minimum of 75 percent in their class 12th board examinations or must place in the top 20%ile in their qualifying test.
A minimum of 65 percent marks are required for reserved category applicants to get admitted to various undergraduate programs offered at IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other CFTIs.
You will become familiar with the format of the entrance exam and the question paper by taking JEE mock tests and solving previous year's question papers, including the marks weighted for each chapter and the number of repetitive questions, by taking mock tests and answering the previous year question papers.
JEE Main Mock Tests include nearly all of the essential areas on the curriculum, and taking them helps you revise thoroughly each time you take one. Taking mock examinations seriously can help you brush up on practically all areas in a more efficient manner.
JEE Mock tests are similar to real exams. As a result, once you've completed enough mock exams, you'll have a good idea of what to expect on the real exam. You'll feel more at peace if you know what it's like on 'D-Day.' When you achieve a high enough grade, you will be confident in your ability to perform well in the actual exam.
